Aga Paulina Młyńczak is a guest curator of ArtConnect's

Aga is an artist and curator from Poland based in Scotland. She was born in Wrocław, but have been living abroad since 2009. She studied and practiced in Aalborg (AAU / European Film College), Venice (IUAV), Copenhagen (Fatamorgana) and finally Glasgow (GSA). Aga works with audio-visual installation art at the meeting point of sculpture, technology, camera and sound.

Her research surrounds the notion of image and representation be it a photograph or a sound recording. Secondly, She’s interested in language and communication in the context of signaling belonging and self-identification within the immigrant communities. She has started my curatorial practice in Denmark and have worked as a curator at 16 Nicholson Street Gallery since 2019. Młyńczak has been recently shown at Trongate 103 'Still Searching' (2019), Street Level 'Open' (2019), 16NSt 'Flock Circumstance' (2021), KIOSK 'Word Turner II' (2021, Studio Pavilion (2021), Feminist Art Festival in Tunis and Radiophrenia (2022).
