'Rabih Mroué: Interviews,' edited by Nadim Samman, exhibition catalogue KW Institute of Contemporary Art, Berlin, Hatje Cantz Verlag, 2022

Recently, Lisa Deml has contributed to an anthology of interviews with the artist Rabih Mroué, marking his receipt of the Schering Stiftung Award for Artistic Research and published to coincide with his major solo exhibition at KW Institute for Contemporary Art, Berlin. Mroué’s acclaimed body of work is situated at the intersection of personal and political imaginaries and addresses contested memory of historical events and concepts of authorship. Through scripted conversations, confessions, reports, and questions, this publication takes up different artistic strategies of Mroué to interrogate our ways of seeing and speaking.
