Raul Rodriguez is a guest curator of ArtConnect's Artists to Watch ‘22


Raul Rodriguez is a fine art photographer, independent curator, educator, and publisher. His interdisciplinary and curatorial practices engage with communities that share stories about intersectional identity, resilience, collective narrative, and the social connections formed through photography and lens-based media.

Raul is the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Deep Red Press, a platform that highlights photographers and artists that are re-contextualizing visual art and redefining the social landscape in Texas.

Raul recently curated the international photography exhibition New Seeds for Float Photo Magazine and was a juror for Art214, a multi-venue visual arts project that showcases the works of artists who live in Dallas and the greater North Texas region organized by The City of Dallas Office of Arts and Culture.
