Valeria Schiller is a guest curator of ArtConnect's Artists to Watch ‘23


Valeria Schiller (b. 1994, Ukraine) is an art historian, writer, and curator of contemporary art.

In 2019, Valeria was a Junior Curator of the PinchukArtCentre and a Curatorial Team Member at the Babyn Yar Holocaust Memorial Centre.

From 2016 to 2018, she worked in the archive of PinchukArtCentre’s Research Platform, where she continued to work again starting from October 2022 and to this day.

From 2019 to 2022, she read an art history course at the Kyiv Academy of Media Arts, and from 2020 to 2022, Schiller edited an online media about contemporary art Artslooker.

In 2022 Schiller was a fellow at the educational department at the Neue Nationalgalerie in Berlin.

Currently, she lives and works in Berlin.
