Artist Grant — Visual Artist Grants 2026

Artist Grant awards an unrestricted $1200 USD grant to one visual artist three times each year. The annual deadlines are March 15, July 15, and November 15.

Reward: $1200 grant


AXA Art Prize— US Student Prize 2026

The AXA Art Prize provides a unique platform for emerging artistic talent and gives the next generation of figurative artists the perfect forum in which to launch their careers. The juried student art competition accept applications in two-dimensional figurative works: paintings, drawings, and original printmaking.

Reward: First Prize of $10,000 and Second Prize of $5,000, virtual exhibition & NYC exhibition.

DAG Foundation— Prizes for Visual Art, Music & Literature

The DAG Prizes are awarded annually to an emerging visual artist, musician and writer whose work contributes meaningfully to the evolution of the artform in the United States. Prize funds can be used for materials, studio space, exhibition costs, travel for research, or other resources necessary to create and present a new project.

Reward: $20,000 prize


Artadia — Awards 2026

The Artadia Awards provide financial support, exposure and recognition to artists. The awards are unrestricted, allowing artists to use the funds in any way they choose. Each year, an open-call application is made available in each of the seven active partner cities: Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Houston, Los Angeles, New York City, and San Francisco Bay Area.

Rewards: $15,000 in funding


 

Creative Capital — Open Call 2027

The 2027 Creative Capital Open Call seeks proposals from individual artists in all 50 states for new artistic works in the Visual Arts, Performing Arts, Film, and Literature. The award provides individual artists with unrestricted project grants for the creation of innovative, original, and imaginative new artistic works.

Rewards: $50,000 project grant


Anonymous Was A Woman — Environmental Art Grants

This program provides grants of up to $20,000 to environmental art projects led by woman, transgender, and gender-nonconforming artists in the United States and U.S. Territories. The Environmental Art Grants supports environmental art projects that inspire thought, action, and ethical engagement. Projects should not only point at problems, but aim to engage an environmental issue at some scale.

Rewards: $20,000 grant

South Arts — Artist Creative Practice Grants

South Arts recognizes the importance of professional development in building artists’ careers. Even with stipends or payments, overall expenses can make participating in these opportunities inaccessible. South Arts offers Artist Creative Practice Grants to ensure that artists from the South Arts region can take advantage of a variety of career enhancing opportunities.

Rewards: $3,000 maximum award


Franklin Furnace — Fund for Performance Art

The Franklin Furnace Fund for Performance Art awards early-career artists funding to produce a daring performance, time-based, or new media works in New York City.

Reward: Grants between $2,000 and $10,000.
