Colorado State University | Artist Residency Program
This six-month Artist Residency Program is an interdisciplinary opportunity for mid-career and professional artists to engage with science, sustainability and community at Colorado State University Spur’s cutting-edge public campus in Denver. This residency is designed for artists who are eager to work at the intersection of art, science and education and who are committed to making their practice publicly visible and educationally impactful.
Rewards: Accommodation, studio, $10,000 living stipend, $5,000 materials budget, $1,250 travel budget, solo exhibition & more.

Swiss Polar Institute | Polarts Research Grant
This call for proposals is aimed at Switzerland-based artists interested in developing a collaboration with polar scientists. Artists and scientists duos are invited to propose a collaborative process lasting approximately 12 to 18 months. Proposals must engage with topics and research linked to polar regions (the Arctic or Antarctic) or to remote high-altitude regions, such as the Andes or the Himalaya.
Rewards: Living expenses of up to CHF 7,000, Operational costs of up to CHF 5,500, accommodation, & travel.

European Marine Board | EMBracing the Ocean
This programme provides grants for creative individuals/groups from a wide-range of disciplines to engage in a two-way co-creation of artwork in collaboration with Ocean scientists. The goal of co-created art-science projects goes beyond making complex scientific topics more accessible to the public, but also strives for the scientists to gain new insights into their work by collaborating with artists.
Rewards: 10,000 € funding

National Center for Ecological Analysis and Synthesis | Art + Science Fellowship
In NCEAS has launched their new annual Art + Science Fellowship: Dialogues in Science thru Art & Music, inviting one visual artist and one musician/composer to Santa Barbara for a weeklong Ideas Summit, where they will collaborate with leading environmental scientists around a shared theme. The inaugural 2026 theme is Extinction & Persistence - exploring disappearance, survival, adaptation, and the emotional and ecological dimensions of change.
Rewards: Stipend of $10,000, travel, accommodation, and per diem for both the Summit and final public program

Artists Association of Nantucket | The Environmental Artist Residency
This three-week immersive program is designed for artists whose practice engages with the subject of the environment, climate issues, and the natural world. This residency supports creative inquiry into the unique ecological landscape of Nantucket—a coastal island facing rapid environmental change including erosion, rising seas, and shifting habitats.
Rewards: Accommodation, studio, exhibition, stipend of $3000, & travel expenses of $500.
