Edward F. Albee Foundation | Winter/Spring Residency 2027
The Edward F. Albee Foundation has opened up applications for residencies at the William Flanagan Memorial Creative Persons Center (aka "The Barn") in Montauk, Long Island. The Center exists to serve writers and visual artists from all walks of life by providing uninterrupted time and space to work. Residents are expected to work seriously and to support a respectful, focused environment for fellow artists.

BOUNDED SPACE | Pre / Sense: 798 Multidisciplinary Residency Project
Under the theme Pre / Sense, BOUNDED SPACE invites new media artists, electronic musicians, and cross‑disciplinary creators from around the world to gather on their industrial site—shaped by Bauhaus architecture, exposed steam pipes, and steel trusses—to explore facets of reality that have not yet been captured by language or absorbed into systems of knowledge. Between order and chaos, the known and the unknown, the visible and the invisible, we aim to rediscover dimensions of the world that have not yet unfolded.

CAMARGO FOUNDATION | Camargo Fellowship 2027-2028
The Camargo Fellowship is the flagship program of the Camargo Foundation. Since 1971, the Camargo Foundation has awarded residencies to more than 1,500 individuals as part of its mission to support groundbreaking research, experimentation, and interdisciplinary approaches in the Arts and Humanities. Selected participants are awarded residencies in a stunning, contemplative environment where they have the space, time, and freedom to think, create, and connect.

Collar Works | Elizabeth Murray Artist Residency
The Elizabeth Murray Artist Residency (EMAR) program by Collar Works is designed to provide emerging, underrepresented, and established artists an immersive, supportive, productive, and communal atmosphere for art-making and dialogue on a bucolic 77-acre historic farm in Washington County, NY.

Villa Medici | 2027-2028 Fellowships
Each year, the French Academy in Rome – Villa Medici organizes an international competition to select fellows who will be hosted at the Villa Medici in Rome for a 12-month residency in creation, experimentation and research (residency begins in September, ends in August). The competition is open to established French-speaking artists, authors and researchers, regardless of nationality. Applications are accepted from all disciplines of literary and artistic creation, arts and crafts, as well as art history and theory, or the restoration of works of art or monuments.
