Canadian Centre for Architecture | Research Fellowship Program
As an international research institution, the Canadian Centre for Architecture produces exhibitions, publications and research programs that focus on architecture from an academic and research-based perspective. Part of this mission is the CCA’s Research Fellowship Program which supports innovative research that brings about new approaches and discourse on architecture.
Rewards: $5,000 CAD per month, workspace, and travel budget
Society for Arts and Technology | Research-Creation Residency Program in Arts & Technologies
As part of the new Digital Hubs initiative of the Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec (CALQ), the Society for Arts and Technology (SAT) is launching a new research-creation residency program. This program aims to offer artists a space for technological exploration and innovation, free from the constraints and pressure to deliver results that are typically associated with production residencies.

PHI | Immersive
PHI Immersive is an intensive six-week residency program that supports creators and changemakers who wish to use extended reality (XR) for the common good by providing tailored guidance, collaborative opportunities with PHI Studio experts, and access to its creative and technological resources. The program supports North America–based creators whose practices engage new media, extended reality (XR) technologies, artificial intelligence, or immersive sound to address contemporary challenges and the common good.

Atelier Circulaire | Production Residency Project
Through its residency program, Atelier Circulaire offers artists from Quebec, Canada, and abroad the opportunity to develop their projects involving printmaking within its production studios, while fostering exchange and the sharing of knowledge within its artistic community.
At the end of their residency period, residents will have the opportunity to present the results of their production process to the public in the members’ gallery.

Located 100km east of Montreal at the edge of a forest in the municipality of Saint-Edmond-de-Grantham, the residency program offered by Grantham Foundation is too good not to include in this guide. The program offers not only time and space to devote to one’s art in a tranquil setting, but also the opportunity for a solo exhibition accompanied by a publication.
