Finding opportunities to exhibit your work isn’t always easy, especially when you have to sift through open calls with hefty application and participation fees. To make things easier, we’ve collated a list of the best upcoming opportunities worldwide where you can exhibit your work and get paid for it.

Fiap Martinique 2026

FIAP Martinique is the International Performance Art Festival aimed at bringing together local and international artists, academics, and critics to create site-specific performances and foster connections within the global performance art community. For the 2026 edition, they are now accepting solo applications from performance artists, choreographers, and visual artists as well as curators/art critics from Martinique, the Caribbean, and around the world with an interest in transdisciplinary, contextual, ecological, queer, and decolonial practices.

Rewards:
For performers: 800 EUR honorarium, production costs (up to 500 EUR), round-trip travel (up to 1,000 EUR), accommodation, meals, & local transportation. For curators/art critics: 300 EUR research grant, round-trip travel (up to 1,000 EUR), accommodation, meals, & local transportation.

Loucust Projects | Main Gallery: Open Call 2025

Locust Projects invites local, national, and international artists to apply for the opportunity to access the space and resources to create ambitious, large-scale new work in our 2,500 sq ft MAIN GALLERY in their new home in Little River.

Rewards:
Solo exhibition in Miami, 10,000 USD project budget, 5,000 USD artist fee plus 60 USD per diem stipend for meals, local travel and incidentals up to 21 days, 600 USD travel stipend & accommodation.

INACT Festival des arts mutants | Performance Works

INACT Festival is an event focusing on performance at, organised in Strasbourg since 2011. This multidisciplinary program will take place from 30 April to 15 May 2026. They are invited applications from artists from all disciplines who have projects related to performance and performativity in response to the theme of “Fugology”.

Rewards:
Artist fee of 250 EUR, travel expenses, accommodation, catering during the day of the performance and artwork documentation.

FELTspace | Exhibition Program 2026

Adelaide’s FELTspace is now seeking proposals for our 2026 program. They welcome proposals from early and mid career artists that champion experimental practices, concepts and/or materials. Local, interstate and international artists are eligible to apply.

Rewards:
Four-week exhibition, 1000 AUD artist fee, marketing support and an opening event and artist talk

Bienal Del Chaco | International Sculpture Biennial 2026

The International Sculpture Biennial 2026 will be held from 11-19 July 2026 in Resistencia, Chaco, Argentina. Ten sculptors from different countries will be invited to participate, each creating a new work over the course of seven consecutive days.

Rewards:
Participants will receive an honorarium of 6,000 USD, accommodation, local transportation & catering.

Furman University | Proposals for Gallery Exhibitions

The Department of Art at Furman University invites proposals for solo and/or group exhibitions at the Thompson Art Gallery for the 2026-27 and 2027-28 academic years. The Thompson is dedicated to the display and exploration of contemporary art and its current practices. The Gallery typically hosts four external exhibitions per academic year, with each show on view for approximately five weeks.

Rewards:
Artist fee of 750 USD, 150 USD for an on-campus artist’s talk & up to $200 USD toward artwork shipping and/or artist travel.

Kelowna Art Gallery | Call for Site-Specific Installation Proposals

Located beside the Gallery’s main entrance, The Glass Gallery is a unique exhibition space that showcases artists from across British Columbia. Visible twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, it offers exhibiting artists exceptional public exposure and the opportunity to connect with diverse audiences.

Rewards:
Artist fee of 686 CAD for the first three months, plus 172 CAD for each additional month. Glass Gallery exhibitions typically run four to six months.

Ville de Carouge | International Ceramics Competition

Since 1987, the City of Carouge has been organizing an international contemporary ceramics competition every two years. Throughout the editions, this competition has become an important event for an ever-increasing number of artists from all over the world. The selected works will be exhibited at the Musée de Carouge from September 19 to November 29, 2026.

Rewards:
Exhibition and catalogue. Five prizes are awarded (all valued in Swiss francs): 1st Prize 10,000, 2nd Prize 2,000, 3rd Prize 1,000, Audience prize 800, Schools' prize 500.
