Rhode Island School of Design | BFA degree

At RISD, undergraduate students take first-year studios in Experimental and Foundation Studies, followed by a major course of study in a specific fine arts or design discipline beginning sophomore year. Students graduate with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree and deep disciplinary knowledge along with strong critical thinking skills and the agility to problem solve and connect the dots across a wide range of fields.

ArtCenter College of Design | BFA in Photography and Imaging Degree

Pursuing a BFA degree in photography and imaging at ArtCenter, you’ll work far beyond the confines of a camera and a classroom. Here, you will learn in a rich, transdisciplinary educational environment where lighting, location, and composition meet writing, business strategies, and the sciences and humanities.

Northwest College of Art & Design | Bachelor of Fine Arts in Visual Communication

Northwest College of Art & Design’s BFA degree program concentrations include Graphic Design, Illustration, User Experience (UX), Motion Design, Media Arts, and Animation. Students are immersed in learning technical skills, creative problem solving, and development of original concepts.

The recommended admission deadline for Fall enrollment is August 15, however, enrollment is offered year-round to qualified applicants on a first-come, first-served basis.

Yale School of Art | MFA Degree

The graduate student’s primary educational experience at Yale is centered on the student’s own studio activity. Supporting this enterprise are the experience, knowledge, and skills gained from rigorous, structured courses such as drawing, filmmaking, the relativity of color, and the rich academic offerings found throughout Yale.

Admission to Yale’s MFA program is for the fall semester only, annually. Applications are due annually in October. Stay up to date via their ArtConnect profile.

New York Studio School | MFA Program

As full-time students at the New York Studio School, applicants will join an exceptional community of artists, study with dedicated instructors, and cultivate the skills and methods that will prepare them for a lifetime of art-making. The two-year MFA and three-year Certificate and Virtual Certificate programs offer artists the opportunity to expand the depth of their studio practice in their chosen area of study: painting or sculpture, with drawing as an integral component of the curriculum.

UCSC Division of Graduate Studies | MFA in Environmental Art and Social Practice

This two-year, residential program seeks prospective applicants who want to develop their artwork in relation to social and environmental justice questions, contexts, and communities. Led by internationally-recognized artists and including affiliate faculty from across campus, the program integrates the resources of a renowned public research university with the Art Department’s mission of educating and training students in cross-disciplinary, multimedia art practices.
