Dansiblekinge | Blekinge Dance Residency

This residency is a permissive place where artists are invited to explore and focus. Here participants are encouraged to be in the unknown, to follow their intuition and to create something untried rather than presenting finished works. The program is open to experienced artists as well as recent graduates.

Location: Ronneby, Sweden
Reward: Travel reimbursement to and from Ronneby of up to 5,000 SEK, fee of SEK 35,000, accommodation, & more.

circusnext | Call for Projects 2027

On an annual basis, circusnext launches a call for projects to identify and support emerging circus authors throughout Europe. Its primary goal is to care for and encourage the development of new generations of creative spirits in the circus sector, who dare to experiment and question the current artistic boundaries. This open call is intended for emerging artists who are currently developing an upcoming circus creation.


Reward: Creation residencies, touring opportunities, & training. Travel/accommodation costs are covered for all proposed activities. Artist grants of 3,000 EUR-5,000 EUR-.

Brückerei | Call for Choreographers

BRÜCKEREI is a mentored choreographic development platform which brings together 3 choreographers and a large pool of professional and non-professional dancers for 2 weeks of research and artistic exchange. For its third edition, the program welcomes the award-winning Swiss artist Thomas Hauert as a mentor.

Choreographers residing outside Zürich will be provided with a travel allowance, accommodation and per diem.

Gdański Festiwal Tańca | Solo Dance Contest

Klub Żak Solo Dance Contest is an international competition for contemporary dance solo, which takes place during Gdańsk Dance Festival on September 14–17, 2026. The competition is addressed to all professional dancers from Poland and abroad who are over 18 years of age. Selected solos are invited to participate in the main competition.

Arab Fund for Arts and Culture | Performing Arts Grant

AFAC’s Performing Arts grant supports the production and distribution of classical, folk, and contemporary forms of theatre and dance performances. The grant also supports public and site-specific interventions, performance art, and festivals, as well as training and workshops in playwriting, acting, directing, dancing, and choreography. Proposals from individuals from Arab countries are welcome regardless of their place of residence, citizenship, or ethnic and national identification.

Reward: Individual grants up to USD 25,000 & collective/institution grants up to USD 35,000
