Vital Impacts | Environmental Photography Fellowships and Mentorships
The Vital Impacts Environmental Photography Fellowships and Mentorships support visual storytellers undertaking long-term documentary photography projects that explore environmental and conservation challenges and, importantly, the people and communities working toward solutions.
The program has a dual purpose: to provide financial support and mentorship to photographers developing significant bodies of work while fostering meaningful collaboration with communities and organizations engaged in environmental and wildlife conservation.
Rewards: $20,000 fellowship for an established environmental photographer and six $5,000 fellowships for emerging photographers
Les Rencontres d'Arles | Curatorial Research Fellowship
The Rencontres d’Arles curatorial research grant is aimed at exhibition curators wishing to carry out an original project relating to image or photography.
The grant, worth a maximum of consists of an initial sum of 5,000 euros in royalties, payable to the winner and a second sum of 15,000 euros, to produce the project.

Tate | Brooks International Fellow Programme
Tate, in collaboration with Delfina Foundation, invites applications for the Brooks International Fellowship Programme 2027. The programme will enable international researchers to work with Tate colleagues for six months in 2027, complemented by activities at Delfina Foundation.
Tate is excited to be offering two 6-month Fellowship opportunities open to international researchers based outside of the UK, to be hosted in the Tate Britain Curatorial Division at Tate.

Society for Arts and Technology (SAT) | Research Creation Residency 2027-28
This program aims to offer artists a space for technological exploration and innovation, free from the constraints and pressure to deliver results that are typically associated with production residencies.
The Society for Arts and Technology will support three projects that will bring live arts and technological arts into dialogue around human movement. This program is open to non-profit organizations, collectives, and individual artists.

The Image Centre | Research Fellowships
Since 2014, The Image Centre has offered a variety of fellowships for research related to photography. Research fellows have the opportunity to study select areas of The Image Centre's photography collections first-hand. In 2027, The Image Centre will offer six competitive fellowships for research related to photography.
Research fellowships must take place in Toronto, Canada at The Image Centre or TMU Archives and Special Collections.
Rewards: Range from $4,000 to $70,000, depending on the fellowship program
