The artist retreat at the Montello Foundation is meant to be a retreat from the urban environment. It will provide a new perspective for residents’ work and give residents space and time for undisturbed experimentation and reflection for two weeks.

This call for art is seeking photographers, amateur and professional, invited to submit photographs that illustrate these injustices, globally and locally, especially those issues on female prisoners. The exhibition seeks socially and politically engaged art.

Johnson City Public Art | Request for Sculpture Proposals

Johnston City Public Art’s leased sculpture program seeks to enhance the downtown area through the incorporation of public art. These sculptures are placed on a two-year rotation; the next round of sculptures will be installed in May 2023.

Mexic-Arte Museum | Call for Public Art for Mexic-Arte Museum

This open call is in collaboration with the City of Austin Art in Public Places program. The vision of this opportunity includes selecting one team of artists to create iconic artwork. They will be expected to work collaboratively with Museum stakeholders and ultimately design, fabricate and install one or more artworks that are interactive.

Location: Austin, Texas

Rewards: $260,000 budget, including materials, travel, accommodation & exhibition
